FEB UIN Jakarta Leaders Attend 2026 Executive Meeting: Strengthening Academic Strategy and Institutional Governance
Jakarta, February 14, 2026. The leadership of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta attended the 2026 University Leadership Working Meeting (Rakerpim) held at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta. This strategic event lasted for three days, from February 13 to 15, 2026.
The FEB delegation was led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Deans, the Head of Administration, and all Program Chairpersons within FEB. This full participation reaffirms FEB's commitment to aligning the faculty's vision with the university's major goals for the coming year.
The event was opened and chaired by the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, Ph.D. In his speech, the Rector emphasized the importance of digital transformation, improving the quality of international research, and strengthening transparent organizational governance.
Also present as a guest of honor and keynote speaker was the Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Kamarudin Amin, MA. Kamaruddin also highlighted the major challenges facing college graduates today. He mentioned that there are millions of college alumni who are still confused about their direction in life after graduation.
He emphasized that business processes and campus governance must be oriented towards increasing student capacity, not just producing graduates.
“Business processes on campus must be oriented towards strengthening student capacity so that they can survive after graduating. Students must be equipped with values that enable them to succeed,” said Kamaruddin.
Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si., stated that this Rakerpim is a crucial moment for FEB to formulate concrete steps, especially in improving international accreditation and strengthening the student entrepreneurship ecosystem.
“We are here to ensure that every work program at FEB this year is not only routine, but also has a significant impact on the university's ranking and the welfare of the people,” said Prof. Ibnu Qizam on the sidelines of the event.
Through this leadership meeting, FEB leaders are expected to bring back a more focused roadmap to be implemented at the faculty and study program levels, in order to realize UIN Jakarta as a leading educational destination on the international stage. (AC)
