FEB UIN Jakarta Screens 135 Student Candidates for KIP-K Scholarship
South Tangerang, October 1, 2026 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta conducted interview-based selection sessions for 135 students vying for the 2026 *Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah* (KIP-K) scholarship. The selection process took place in the Vice Dean III’s office at the FEB UIN Jakarta building on Thursday (October 1, 2026) and continued on Monday (October 5, 2026).

The participants were students who had successfully passed the administrative screening, as announced by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs. Interviews were held from 08:00 to 15:00 WIB, with a break from 12:30 to 13:15 WIB. Each participant underwent a 15-minute interview conducted by one of five interviewers working in parallel.
The assessment covered readiness to participate in scholarship-related development activities, personality and daily religious practices, organizational experience, achievements, as well as graduation plans and post-graduation career paths. Participants were required to arrive 10 minutes before their session, dress neatly and wear shoes, and bring their original registration documents in a clearly labeled paper folder. Documents issued by official institutions, sub-district offices, or village administrations—such as the Certificate of Incapacity (SKTM) or income statements—had to be presented in their original form.

Dr. Asyari Hasan, the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation at FEB UIN Jakarta, expressed his full support for the implementation of this selection process. "We fully support this initiative. The KIP Kuliah program is a tangible manifestation of the state's presence, ensuring that high-achieving students from underprivileged families can pursue higher education. Through the interviews, we do not merely check for document completeness; we also gain direct insight into the students' character, drive, commitment, and future plans. This ensures the scholarship is truly well-targeted, reaching those who are deserving and ready to grow," he said.
He added that the orderly and transparent selection process is expected to yield scholarship recipients who are high achievers, active in organizations, and prepared to contribute to both the faculty and the community. "We hope the recipients will graduate on time and become competent graduates with integrity," he stated.
The selection process proceeded smoothly and in an orderly manner. The final results will be announced via UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's official channels. (ah)
