FEB UIN Jakarta sends students in the 2025 Student Mobility Program to Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City, November 16, 2025, FEB UIN Jakarta sent 24 students to participate in the student mobility program at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Vietnam. The participating students are delegates from each study program at FEB, both undergraduate and postgraduate, namely, 6 students from the Islamic Banking Study Program, 5 students from the Management Study Program, 4 students from the Islamic Economics Study Program, 4 students from Accounting, 3 students from the Development Economics Study Program and 2 students from the Islamic Banking Masters Study Program. The activity will last for 7 days and return to Indonesia on Saturday, November 22nd. The students will participate in the full program in accordance with the collaboration program that has been carried out, namely studying in class for 3 days about the Vietnamese economy, international economics and macroeconomic policies. while 2 days are spent outside the classroom, namely observing the economy of the Vietnamese community on the Mekong River and visiting companies in the Chu Chi Industrial area of Ho Chi Minh City.
Students will also learn about Vietnamese Islam in Ho Chi Minh City by visiting the Ho Chi Minh City Islamic community at the Jamia Mausulman Grand Mosque. This activity also includes lecturers participating in Community Service (PKM). These include Dean Prof. Ibnu Qizam, SE, Ak., M.SI; Vice Dean 3, Dr. Asyari Hasan; and Yoghi Citra Paratama, P.hD., the group leader and secretary of the Cooperation and Internationalization Team at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta. "This activity is expected to increase students' knowledge and experience and enable them to compete in the international world. Hopefully, activities like this can continue because they are very useful," then one of the participating students, Galuh, said, "Thank God, I finally arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. I am very excited to participate in this activity. I hope it will increase my knowledge and experience. And I think this is good. Previously, student mobility always went to Malaysia and Thailand. I heard that this is the first time I have been to Vietnam, a socialist country whose economy is developing. I hope that next year FEB will plan to go to Europe, especially Russia.
