Finalizing Lectures, Development Economics Study Program Holds Meeting to Prepare for New Academic Year

Jakarta, August 28, 2025 – The Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Teaching Preparation Meeting and Semester Learning Plan (RPS) Development based on Outcome Based Education (OBE) in the FEB Meeting Room on the 2nd floor and was attended by 23 lecturers, both offline and online. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Development Economics Study Program, Arief Fitrijanto, and attended by lecturers including Pheni Chalid, Rizqon Halal Syah Aji, Arisman, Rusdianto, Fitri Amalia, Sofyan Rizal, Rahma Farahdita, Neneng Nurjanah, and Shelby Widodo.
This meeting was an important moment for the Development Economics Study Program in ensuring the readiness of the 2025/2026 academic year lectures. One of the main discussions was the reaffirmation of the Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) that had been set by the Study Program, so that lecturers did not need to recreate them but rather incorporate them into the Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK) and Sub-CPMK. Sub-CPMKs are developed at the course meeting level, covering achievement targets, learning models, assessment instruments, and evaluation weights. Thus, learning evaluation can be conducted more measurably based on the relationship between GOL, CLO, and Sub-CLO. “We want the 2025/2026 academic year to run smoothly, in accordance with the OBE-based RPS so that students of the development economics study program graduate according to standards and have high competitiveness,” said Arief Fitrijanto. In line with Arief, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Sofyan Rizal emphasized his commitment to creating a conducive learning environment. “It is important for FEB to create a comfortable and conducive learning environment for students and lecturers so that the predetermined graduate achievements can be optimally achieved,” said the macroeconomics lecturer.
The meeting also discussed the importance of maintaining a balance in the quality of learning, both online and offline. This is an important indicator in evaluating lecturer performance, which not only assesses academic results but also pedagogical and professional competencies. In general, lecturer performance was assessed as good and meeting the standards set by the Study Program.
Through this teaching preparation meeting and RPS development, the Development Economics Program at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is committed to continuing to provide a measurable, adaptive, and outcome-oriented learning system, in line with the principles of Outcome-Based Education. (AC)
