Jakarta, December 11, 2025. The Graduate Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, hosted a visiting lecturer from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Dr. Ali Nasser Al Tahitah. The event was held in a hybrid format in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Ibnu Sina FEB Building and online via Zoom. The event was hosted by Dr. Dumyati Bashori and Rahmawati, PhD.
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Sofyan Rizal, said that the visiting lecturer event from USIM Malaysia was part of FEB's efforts to broaden the horizons of students and internationalize FEB UIN Jakarta. “This visiting lecturer activity from USIM Malaysia is part of FEB's efforts to go international while broadening the horizons of our students,” said Sofyan. 
In his presentation, Dr. Ali Nasser delivered a lecture on “Writing a Modern Research Proposal”. “There are three approaches in research: (1) quantitative, (2) qualitative, (3) mixed methods,” said Ali Nasser. Ali also added how to write a research question and how to write a research objective.  
The event was lively with a question-and-answer session between participants and the speaker and concluded with a group photo. (AC)
