Klaten, December 7, 2025. After studying BUMDes Umbul Ponggok
in Polanharjo, the group of MBKM Surakarta student participants was welcomed by Mr. Yoeli
Purnama, owner of Mbah Lurah Restaurant. A restaurant that harmonizes the village nature
consisting of rice fields and rivers with an attractive dining concept. 

In his presentation, Yoeli Purnama explained to the students
that to become a successful entrepreneur, one must have good intentions and
faith in Allah SWT. “To become an entrepreneur, we must
have good intentions, pray diligently, and have faith in Allah SWT who controls
everything. Don’t hesitate to ask customers for any feedback
on how to improve and develop our business,” Yoeli explained.

Resto Mbah Lurah was built by Yoeli after he decided
to retire from his job as an area manager at a multinational
company. He chose to return to his hometown in Klaten. To this day,
Resto Mbah Lurah is frequently visited by both domestic and international guests. 

Ade Ananto, the MBKM Surakarta supervisor, stated that through
the MBKM visit to Mbah Lurah Restaurant, students are expected to gain
motivation to start their own businesses. “From Mr. Yoeli, we have gained
a lot of motivation to become entrepreneurs while also developing the potential
of our respective hometowns,” Ade said enthusiastically.

Activities at Mbah Lurah Restaurant included socializing and group photos.
