Jakarta, 18 November 2025. FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta together with Baznas held a preparatory meeting for the 9th International Conference On Zakat in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the FEB Building, Jalan Ibnu Sina. Carrying the theme “Zakat and Philanthropy: Beyond Technology Designing a Global Transform for Humanity and Shared Prosperity”, ICONZ will be held on 9-11 December 2025 at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

Present at Muhammad Hasbi Zainal's meeting with the team, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Sofyan Rizal, Deputy Dean for General Administration Erika Amelia, Head of TU Imam Thobroni, Chairman of the ICONZ Committee Nur Hidayah and the team. In her speech, Erika Amelia conveyed the readiness of the infrastructure that ICONZ will use later. “"We as hosts, God willing, are ready to be good hosts”," said Erika. In line with Erika, Head of TU Imam Thobroni said that all the rooms needed by the committee were ready to be used. “Harun Nasution's classrooms, theater rooms and main auditorium are ready to be used to organize ICONZ”, said Imam.

Chairman of the 9th ICONZ Implementation Committee, Nur Hidayah, expressed optimism that the implementation of ICONZ would run successfully. “God willing, we pray that the ICONZ event will run well and be successful. "Synergy with Baznas, we are also mobilizing lecturers, students, both bachelor's, master's and doctoral program students in Sharia banking, to participate in helping implement the 9th ICONZ later”," said the professor at FEB UIN Jakarta.

The Baznas team led by Hasbi Zainal hopes that the implementation of the 9th ICONZ will be successful and produce something useful for the development of zakat in Indonesia. “We thank FEB UIN Jakarta. "Hopefully the 9th ICONZ will run successfully and produce great benefits for zakat development in Indonesia”," said Hasbi.

ICONZ activities will be filled with conferences, seminars, article presentations and a series of other activities which will be held on 9-11 December 2025 at UIN Jakarta. (AC)
