In Celebration of Its 140th Commencement Ceremony, the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Jakarta Holds a Graduation Ceremony for 101 Graduating Students

Ciputat, May 19, 2026 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a graduation ceremony for the prospective graduates of the 140th class. This solemn ceremony took place on Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, at the Theater Hall on the 2nd floor of the FEB Building, Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, Ciputat.
This graduation ceremony officially sent off 101 prospective graduates from 8 study programs across various levels (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral). All participants are scheduled to take part in the university’s graduation procession on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Harun Nasution Main Auditorium, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

The event was attended in person by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., along with the Vice Deans, as well as the Heads of Study Programs (Kaprodi) and Secretaries of Study Programs (Sekprodi) within the FEB.
In his remarks, FEB Dean Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam extended his congratulations and deep appreciation for the academic journey undertaken by the students, which culminated in the attainment of their bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. He also shared a meaningful message for the graduates who are about to enter the professional world.

“Congratulations on this remarkable achievement. I urge all graduating students to always uphold the good name of our alma mater. Remain humble, never be arrogant about the knowledge you have acquired, and continue to learn in order to build a better future,” said Prof. Ibnu Qizam.
Based on the Dean’s Decree No. B-4012/F8/PP.014.1/IV/2026, the following is a breakdown of the number of prospective graduates of the 140th class from each program:

•    Bachelor of Management: 34 students
•    Bachelor of Accounting: 7 students
•    Bachelor of Development Economics: 18 students
•    Bachelor of Islamic Banking: 13 students
•    Bachelor of Islamic Economics: 21 students
•    Master of Islamic Economics: 3 students
•    Master of Islamic Banking: 4 students
•    Doctor of Islamic Banking: 1 student

In addition to the formal graduation ceremony for the top graduates at the faculty and program levels, this graduation event also featured a career preparation session (studium generale). The keynote speaker was Ms. Elda Wediana, MM, Head of the Financial Control and Compliance Management Division at Bank Nano Syariah, who presented crucial insights on the development of Sharia Digital Compliance in the modern financial industry. This discussion session was interactively facilitated by M. Rafly, SE, a distinguished alumnus of the Sharia Banking Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), UIN Jakarta, who served as moderator.
Through this orientation, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta hopes that graduates will not only excel academically but also possess the mental readiness and adaptive insights needed to navigate digital transformation grounded in Sharia values within society.
