Jakarta, 08 September 2025 The Development Economics Study Programme of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held an International Public Lecture on strengthening trade relations between Indonesia and Turkey. This activity was attended by the Dean of FEB, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, vice deans, lecturers and students of the Development Economics study programme.

In his speech, the dean said that this activity was part of the FEB internationalisation programme. "This International Public Lecture is a very important activity in the framework of the FEB internationalisation programme. Alhamdulillah, the speakers from the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry are willing to attend to provide new experiences and practices of international trade relations to students," said Prof Qizam. The event was moderated by a lecturer in development economics, Arisman with 2 speakers, President of the Assembly Diyarbakir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nevin Il and Vice President Diyarbakir, Erdal Avsar.

In line with the Dean of FEB, the Head of the development economics study programme, Arief Fitrijanto conveyed the urgency of this activity. "Students of the development economics study programme must understand the importance of relations between countries to support economic growth. This activity is part of our efforts to provide this knowledge to students," said Arief.

The event, which was attended by hundreds of students, ended with questions and answers and group photos. (AC)
