OPENING CEREMONY OF SCMW 2026 SHARIA CAPITAL MARKET WEEK (SCMW)

Jakarta, May 2, 2026, the Opening Ceremony of Sharia Capital Market Week (SCMW) 2026, themed "Beyond Rational Markets and Capital Direction." This event kicked off the SCMW 2026 series, which aims to increase the understanding and participation of the younger generation in the Islamic capital market to support sustainable capital flows.

The event began at 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) with participant registration, followed by an opening by the Master of Ceremonies, Muhammad Raffa and Destiana Ahdaini. The following program included a recitation of the Divine Word led by M. Erfan Saputra, and the singing of the National Anthem "Indonesia Raya" and the UIN Jakarta Hymn, conducted by conductor Agita Destiani Putri.

A welcoming speech was then delivered by the Chairperson of the SCMW 2026 Executive Committee, Lutfiah Prihandini. The Chairman of the Islamic Investment Gallery, Faculty of Economics and Business, State Islamic University of Jakarta, for the 2025/2026 period, Fadli Firzatillah. The Advisor I of the Islamic Investment Gallery, Faculty of Economics and Business, State Islamic University of Jakarta, Dr. Indo Yama, S.E., M.A.B., and the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Economics and Business, State Islamic University of Jakarta, Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., CM. The symbolic opening ceremony was marked by the striking of a gong by the Advisors of the Islamic Investment Gallery, followed by a group photo session.
Entering the main event, the first session was moderated by Syifa Maulani Safa'at, with I Putu Saptajaya, CSA, CTA, CFP, CRP, CPM (Asia) as the resource person. This session presented material on how economic policies can influence markets and the direction of capital flows. The event continued with an interactive question and answer session, followed by the presentation of certificates to the speakers by the Chairman of the GIS, Faculty of Economics and Business, State Islamic University of Jakarta.

The second session, moderated by Agna Diandra Aulia, featured speakers Reza Sadat S. (IDX Islamic) and Dr. Aini Masruroh, S.E.I., M.M. (DSN MUI). The material focused on how financial ethics and the sharia system can shape the direction of capital flows to support sustainable economic growth. Following the discussion and question-and-answer session, certificates were presented to the speakers.

Next, the third session, also moderated by Agna Diandra Aulia, featured Muhammad Akbar Pamungkas from Phillip Sekuritas Indonesia. In this session, participants were further introduced to Phillip Sekuritas Indonesia and its role in supporting investment activities in the capital market.
In closing, a prayer was led again by M. Erfan Saputra, and the event was officially closed by the MC at 12:00 WIB.
With the SCMW 2026 Opening Ceremony, it is hoped that all participants and the management of the FEB UIN Jakarta Sharia Investment Gallery for the 2025/2026 period will improve their understanding of financial literacy and recognize the important role of the sharia capital market in directing capital flows toward sustainable economic growth.
