Promoting Integrity and Collaboration, HMPS Sharia Banking Holds SPECTRA 2025
Jakarta, October 9, 2025. The Student Association of the Sharia Banking Study Program at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held the SPECTRA 2025 Opening Seminar with the theme “Nurturing Integrity through Islamic Finance” which took place at Theater 2 on the 5th floor of the FEB Building on Jalan Ibnu Sina.
This event, which was attended by enthusiastic students, featured Dr. Riris Aishah Prasetyowati, S.E., M.M., a lecturer at FEB UIN Jakarta as the guest speaker, and Dimas Rezka Mawlasaladin, a 2024 Islamic Banking student, as the moderator. Through her inspiring presentation, Rirish conveyed the importance of maintaining integrity in the Islamic financial system as a form of moral and professional responsibility in the world of Islamic economics. “Integrity is important in an Islamic economic and financial system,” said the alumnus of the doctoral program in Islamic Banking at FEB UIN Jakarta.
Ade Ananto, Secretary of the Sharia Banking Study Program, said that activities like this are important to provide new insights and strengthen collaboration among students. “Of course, this activity is very important for the study program and also for students. This activity can increase the spirit of collaboration and add to the students' knowledge of Sharia banking and finance,” said the lecturer who is familiarly called Pak Ade.
This opening seminar marks the beginning of a series of SPECTRA 2025 activities, which will feature various academic and non-academic competitions throughout October and will conclude with a Summit Seminar on November 5, 2025. Bintang, from HMPS, expressed his hope that SPECTRA 2025 would become a forum for students to build networks. “This event can be a means to build networks between students, lecturers, and Islamic banking practitioners. Therefore, SPECTRA is not just a competition but also an educational forum that produces a competent and highly integrity-driven young generation,” said Bintang enthusiastically.
The SPECTRA 2025 event will feature various competitions involving students and high school students throughout October 2025. (AC)
