Pursuing Excellent Accreditation, Development Economics Study Programme Receives Input from KADIN Turkey
Jakarta, 08 September 2025 President of the Assembly Diyarbakir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nevin Il and Vice President Diyarbakir, Erdal Avsar from the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry provided input to lecturers and students of the development economics study programme FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The event entitled International Public Lecture was held in the theatre room on the 5th floor of the FEB building on Jalan Ibnu Sina.
The speakers, moderated by Arisman, who is also a lecturer at FEB, conveyed the importance of adapting to technology and artificial intelligence (AI) so that development economics graduates are able to become superior and competitive human resources both nationally and internationally. The representative of KADIN Turkey also opened opportunities for students to do internships in Turkey as a form of link and match between campus and industry.
The head of the development economics study programme of FEB UIN Jakarta, Arief Fitrijanto said that the alignment of the curriculum with the needs of the industry is a must. "The development economics study programme of FEB UIN Jakarta always strives to be adaptive to all input from both academics and industry practitioners for the good of our graduates' achievements," said Arief optimistically. This international public lecture activity is also a series of activities that are routinely held in preparation for accreditation in 2026. (AC)
