Surakarta, December 8, 2025. Fourteen students from FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta participating in MBKM visited UIN Surakarta on Monday morning. The group of students was received by the Dean of FEBI UIN Surakarta, Prof. Dr. Rahmawan Arifin, MSi and his staff. On this occasion, the dean, who is fondly called Prof. Ivan, shared various businesses developed by FEBI UIN Surakarta together with students. “We developed a café with students, which we named Café Rolasan, FEBI Mart, and various other businesses, all of which involve students,” said Prof. Ivan to the students.
After attending the sharing session with the FEBI UIN Surakarta Dean's Office, the students were invited to harvest water spinach at the FEBI UIN Surakarta hydroponic garden. The Vice Dean 2 of FEBI UIN Surakarta, Dr. Indah, said that this hydroponic garden is managed by FEBI UIN Surakarta as a form of business and green campus initiative. “In this garden, there are water spinach and bok choy plants grown hydroponically. There is also a machine for shredding dry leaves and waste to be used as planting media or compost,” Indah explained.
