Ciputat, September 26, 2026. Seisdance—a semi-autonomous organization (LSO) under the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta—has once again demonstrated its commitment to fostering student interests and talents in dance. This was achieved through their participation in the dance competition held during the Psyculture event at the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
Nineteen Seisdance members participated as a single team. Competing in this event was part of Seisdance’s effort to gain experience, develop members' skills, and boost their confidence and cohesion when facing university-level competitions. Beyond serving as a platform to showcase talent, the event offered members the chance to learn teamwork, build discipline, and deliver their best performance as representatives of Seisdance FEB UIN Jakarta.
To prepare for the performance, all members underwent an intensive training regimen amidst their busy academic schedules. Rehearsals took place almost daily after classes, running from the Maghrib prayer time into the evening. Despite the challenge of balancing academics, organizational duties, and rehearsals, the members remained dedicated to maintaining consistency and high spirits throughout the preparation process.
The training journey was certainly not without its challenges. Fatigue following classes, late-night rehearsals, and various errors encountered during practice were all part of the team's experience. However, each step served as a learning opportunity for members to improve themselves, strengthen their unity, and deliver a stellar performance during the competition. As the Seisdance Team Captain stated:

The hard work and the long journey they undertook ultimately paid off. The Seisdance team from the LSO FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully secured 2nd place at the university level during the Psyculture 2026 competition. This achievement serves as both a valuable experience and a testament to the hard work, discipline, and cohesion of the entire team.
For the members of Seisdance, this achievement represents more than just the final result; it also reflects the long journey they undertook together. Every practice session, moment of fatigue, mistake, and effort to refine their performance became an integral part of the path to the competition. Ultimately, all that hard work paid off with this successful achievement. Through their participation in Psyculture 2026, LSO Seisdance FEB UIN Jakarta hopes to continue providing a platform for students to develop their potential and skills in dance.
