Sharia Capital Market School (SCMS) x DEMA FSH Sharia Capital Market Week (SCMW) 2026
On June 24, 2026, the Sharia Capital Market School (SCMS) 2026 was held in South Tangerang, themed "From Literacy to Ethical Action: A School for Young Investors." SCMS is part of a series of seminars held annually by the SCMW. The event began with welcoming remarks and a symbolic opening ceremony. This was followed by presentations. Participants were equipped with knowledge related to financial literacy and capital markets.
The event began at 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) with registration by members of the Sharia Investment Gallery (GIS). The event was officially opened by the Master of Ceremonies, Riska Indah Ikhsani and Mochammad Syukur Rizky Hidayah. The event was followed by a recitation of the Divine Word by Rafy Akbar, and the singing of Indonesia Raya, led by Agita Destiani Putri. Welcome remarks were given by the Chairperson of the SCMW 2026 Executive Committee, Lutfiah Prihandini; the Chairperson of GIS, Fadli Firzatillah; and the Advisor of GIS, Dr. Indo Yama, S.E., M.A.B., Dema FSH, Dimas Saputra, Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Dr. Mesraini, S.H., M.Ag., and the committee also expressed their appreciation and gratitude to Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., CM, for his support in organizing the Sharia Capital Market School (SCMS) 2026. The event then continued with a group photo session to symbolize the opening of the event.
Entering the main session, the seminar was divided into two sessions. The first session was moderated by Aishanti Davina Puspa Shakira, who also presented speakers from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Mr. Fikri Fauzan, and Ms. Laraza Annisa from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this session, participants gained an understanding of the concept of Islamic finance, the role of the OJK in the Islamic finance industry, wise financial management for the younger generation, and preventive measures against digital financial crime. In addition, participants were introduced to the Islamic capital market, covering the importance of investing as a means of achieving financial goals, Islamic investment products, criteria for Islamic stocks, and investment mechanisms that comply with Islamic principles. The session concluded with an interactive question and answer session, followed by the presentation of certificates to the speakers by the Chairman of GIS 2026, Fadli Firzatillah.
The second session, moderated by Salma Sari Qolbi, featured a single speaker, Muhammad Akbar Pamungkas from Phillip Sekuritas Indonesia. He presented material on the concept of investing, types of capital market instruments, such as stocks, mutual funds, and bonds, as well as a guide to opening an investment account through the POEMS ID application. The material aimed to equip participants with a practical understanding of investing while instilling awareness of the importance of early financial management to achieve a better financial future.
Finally, a closing prayer was led by Rafy Akbar, and the event was officially closed by the Master of Ceremonies at 12:30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time. Through SCMS 2026, it is hoped that participants and all administrators of the Sharia Investment Gallery, Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, for the 2025/2026 term, will be able to improve financial literacy, play an active role in the development of sharia investment, and contribute to building an inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable sharia capital market ecosystem.
