Sharia Economics Study Program Invites Bank Indonesia to Discuss Optimization of Sharia Instruments
Jakarta, September 24, 2025 The Sharia Economics Study Program invited Bank Indonesia to hold a general lecture in the Theater Room on the 5th floor of the FEB Building on Jalan Ibnu Sina. The speaker was Erwin Gunawan Hutapea, Head of the Monetary Management and Securities Assets Department.
The event, which was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Sofyan Rizal, was attended by the Head of the Sharia Economics Study Program, Ali Rama, PhD, lecturers, and 7th semester students. In his speech, Sofyan Rizal expressed his gratitude to Bank Indonesia, represented by Erwin Gunawan Hutapea. “Thank you to Mr. Erwin from Bank Indonesia for his willingness to join us. Today, we will listen to a lecture on sharia instruments in Indonesia,” said Sofyan.
The Head of the Sharia Economics Study Program, Ali Rama, said that this activity was an effort by the Sharia Economics Study Program to align lectures with practical applications in the field. “This studium general activity is part of an effort to harmonize lectures with monetary practices in Indonesia. In addition, this activity is also expected to help students find topics and titles for their final thesis,” said Ali Rama.
