Sharia Investment Gallery (GIS) Holds Internal Stocklab Competition 2026
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the Islamic Investment Gallery of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta held an Internal Stocklab Competition as a platform to enhance members' understanding of the capital market and Islamic investment through an interactive, educational, and competitive competition. This activity also aimed to hone participants' strategic, communication, and sportsmanship skills in a fun and collaborative atmosphere.
The event began early in the morning with participant registration and committee preparation at the FEB UIN Jakarta's Tilted Theater. The opening ceremony began at 8:45 a.m. WIB, hosted by MCs Najla Amanda Syakira Ar-Rozy and Kahfi Algifari. The event began with a recitation of the Divine Word, followed by remarks from the Chairperson of the Internal Stocklab Competition and remarks from the Chairperson of the GIS FEB UIN Jakarta.
Following the remarks, the MCs concluded the opening session with a technical briefing to ensure all participants understood the rules and gameplay. All participants and committee members were then directed to the Flat Theater to begin the competition.
At Teater Datar, the event opened with remarks from Mr. Asyari Hasan, Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Jakarta, and Mr. Indo Yama, the Supervisor of GIS (Islamic Business Administration) at FEB UIN Jakarta. In his remarks, Mr. Asyari Hasan stated, "This activity is excellent for the next level. Therefore, it is important to always uphold honesty, strengthen collaboration between LSOs, and maintain good manners and appearance." The competition was held with great enthusiasm, as participants competed in strategies and skills in the Stocklab game, designed to enhance understanding of investment and capital markets in an educational and practical way.
To conclude, the committee held a winner announcement session for the Internal Stocklab Competition, announcing the first, second, and third place winners as a token of appreciation for the participants' strategies, collaboration, and skills throughout the competition. The event concluded with enthusiasm and the hope that this activity would provide valuable experience and foster members' interest in the world of investment and Islamic capital markets within the FEB UIN Jakarta Islamic Investment Gallery.(ah)
