Sofyan Rizal: “BSI, Strategic Partner of FEB, Develops Islamic Banking in Indonesia”
Jakarta, October 6, 2025 Located in the office of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta received a working visit from the Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Pondok Indah Consumer Business Area Team and representatives from the BSI Ciputat branch office.
The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB, Sofyan Rizal, said that this working visit was proof of BSI's existence as a partner in curriculum development as well as a business partner of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. "Thank you to BSI, both the Pondok Indah and Ciputat areas, for visiting FEB UIN Jakarta. Many alumni of our study programs, both from the Sharia Banking study program and the Sharia Economics study program, have become employees at BSI, which is a form of trust from BSI and the market in our alumni," said Sofyan, accompanied by Imam Thobroni, Head of the FEB Administrative Office.
On this occasion, Sofyan Rizal, who was also accompanied by the Secretary of the Sharia Banking Master's Program, Ady Cahyadi, also offered FEB's postgraduate programs, which consist of a Master's in Sharia Banking, a Master's in Sharia Economics, and a Doctoral Program in Sharia Banking to BSI. “We are pleased to present several FEB postgraduate programs, including the Master of Sharia Banking, Master of Sharia Economics, and Doctoral Program in Sharia Banking. Perhaps there are BSI employees who would like to continue their studies at UIN Jakarta, following in the footsteps of several master's and doctoral alumni from BSI,” added Ady.
Harry Suryana from BSI Pondok Indah Area expressed his appreciation and welcomed the FEB postgraduate program offer. "We are very pleased to be able to discuss with the FEB team the latest developments in Islamic banking and the opportunities offered to BSI employees to study for a master's or doctorate in Islamic banking. We would also like to mention that many alumni from FEB UIN Jakarta are now employees at BSI," said Harry, accompanied by Hijaz from BSI Pondok Indah Area, Soraya and Riri from BSI Ciputat Branch.
