Strengthening Synergy Between Islamic Economics Students, KSEI LiSEnSI UIN Jakarta and KSEI IKES Gunadarma Successfully Hold Comparative Study "CONNECT"
South Tangerang, June 22, 2026 – In an effort to broaden the horizons and strengthen networks among Islamic economics students, the Islamic Economics Study Group (KSEI) of the Islamic Economics Study Circle (LiSEnSI) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, together with the KSEI Islamic Economics Family Association (IKES) of Gunadarma University, successfully held a comparative study.
With the overarching theme "CONNECT (Collaboration, Networking, and Exchange), the event took place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Postgraduate Theater, Campus 1 of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, from 8:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time onwards.
This activity provided an interactive dialogue space for the two organizations to exchange experiences related to work program management, organizational culture, and innovations in Islamic economics da'wah in the modern era.
In his opening remarks, Johan Luthfi Maulana, Chairman of KSEI LiSEnSI UIN Jakarta, expressed his deep appreciation for the presence of the delegation from Gunadarma University.

"This comparative study tour is not just a friendly visit, but a strategic platform for exchanging ideas and strengthening ties. In line with our theme today, 'CONNECT,' we hope that the collaboration, networking, and exchange of ideas will result in joint innovation in the future for the advancement of the sharia economy," said Johan.
Hebziba Vito Adli Aradea, Chairman of KSEI IKES Gunadarma, also expressed his enthusiasm and gratitude for the host's welcome.
"We are very grateful for the incredibly warm welcome from our friends at LiSEnSI UIN Jakarta. Through the program presentation and lively discussion today, we gained many new and constructive insights. This is an excellent first step in maintaining solidarity and strengthening the inter-KSEI network," said Hebziba.
This inspiring event was also made possible by the full support of the academic institution. Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Dr. Asyari Hasan, C.M., provided strong moral support for this positive student initiative. Although he was unable to attend the event in person, Dr. Asyari conveyed his appreciation. He emphasized that cross-campus collaboration is essential in shaping students' character, making them broad-minded, adaptive, and ready to become pioneers in advancing the Islamic economics and finance industry in Indonesia.
The "CONNECT" comparative study program featured a variety of activities, including profile presentations and flagship programs from each KSEI, inter-division Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), socializing games, and concluded with the presentation of appreciation plaques and a group photo session.
Through this meeting, KSEI LiSEnSI UIN Jakarta and KSEI IKES Gunadarma committed to maintaining good communication and opening up opportunities for collaboration on national-scale programs in the future. (ah)
