April 11, 2026, South Tangerang – In an effort to strengthen the internal structure and professionalism of its management, the Development Economics Student Association (HMPS EP) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held an Organizational Management seminar at the New FEB Building. This event was designed as a strategic step to equip functionaries with robust managerial competencies at the beginning of their tenure.

The theme of the event was "Optimizing the Role of Management in Achieving Effective and Sustainable Organizational Management." This theme reflects HMPS EP's commitment to not only implementing work programs but also building a healthy, transparent, and long-term sustainable organizational system to bring positive change to all Development Economics students. The event, attended by 40 administrators, was officially opened by the Chairperson of HMPS EP for the 2026/2027 academic year. The seminar's main agenda was divided into three interactive sessions of fundamental material.

The main seminar featured a series of in-depth presentations, beginning with a strengthening of the philosophical aspects of leadership by Yasser Arafat Arramadhan (Acting Chairperson of HMPS EP 2025). In this session, participants were invited to explore the importance of developing a clear vision and solid teamwork in navigating increasingly complex organizational dynamics.

She outlined the urgency of secretarial management as the backbone of organizational communication, from standardizing correspondence management to innovative steps in digitizing archives to ensure more effective and efficient information distribution. Complementing these managerial competencies, Aisah Octaviani (Acting Treasurer of HMPS EP 2025) closed the session with an in-depth education session on financial transparency. He emphasized that accountability and systematic financial reporting are not merely administrative tasks, but key to maintaining integrity and trust within an organization.

The participants' enthusiasm was evident through the lively discussions and sharing of experiences throughout the session. Through this seminar, HMPS EP hopes that all administrators will internalize the values of professionalism and be ready to transform into leaders who are not only technically proficient but also emotionally solid in carrying out their mandate for the coming year.
