Student Graduation Ceremony, Dean of FEB Says Becoming a Bachelor is Just the First Step
Jakarta, November 28, 2025. In front of 191 students participating in the 138th graduation ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si delivered an important message to the prospective graduates. In his address, the Dean emphasized that becoming a graduate is just the first step. “Becoming a graduate is not the end but the first step in facing the realities of life ahead. The next choice is to seek employment, become an entrepreneur, or continue studies to the next level,” said Prof. Qizam. The Dean also reminded the graduating students to uphold the reputation of their alma mater wherever they may be. “I also urge the graduating students to uphold the reputation of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta wherever you may be,” the Dean added.
At this graduation ceremony, there were 26 students from the management study program, 60 students from the accounting study program, 32 students from the Sharia economics study program, 23 students from the Sharia banking study program, 46 students from the development economics study program, 2 students from the Sharia economics master's program, and 2 students from the Sharia banking doctoral program. The graduation ceremony for UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta will be held in early December 2025.
Arfan, a student of the development economics study program who participated in the graduation ceremony, expressed his happiness at attending the ceremony. “Alhamdulillah, I have finally completed my studies at FEB UIN Jakarta. Hopefully, with my bachelor's degree, I can advance my career,” said Arfan, who already works at a consulting firm.
The graduation ceremony featured a talk show with M. Hasan Hidayat, MBA, an alumnus of the Development Economics program who works at the Ministry of Human Development and Culture, as well as various engaging performances by students facilitated by the Development Economics program. (AC)
