Ponorogo, December 3, 2025. FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta played an important role in organizing the 13th ASEAN International Conference on Islamic Finance (AICIF) at Darussalam Gontor University in Ponorogo by presenting 18 papers by students and lecturers. The event, held from December 3-5, 2025, was opened by KH. Hasan Abdullah Sahal, Head of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, East Java. 
The 18 articles presented were among dozens of other articles from UNIDA Gontor, IIUM Malaysia, Mindanao University Philippines, UIN Yogyakarta, and several other universities. The FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta delegation was led by Rahmawati, PhD. “There are 18 papers that will be presented by students and lecturers at this AICIF,” said Rahma. The FEB delegation consisted of Rahmawati, Murdiyah Hayati, Oneng, Umiyati, Novrianto, Ali Rama, M. Lutfi, Ady Cahyadi, and several students and staff.
The first day of AICIF featured lectures delivered by Prof. Habib Ahmed from Durham University and Prof. Dato Mohd Azmi Omar from INCEIF University Malaysia. On the second day, the Dean of FEB, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, will deliver a presentation together with speakers from KNEKS, IIiBF Malaysia, followed by parallel sessions. (AC)
