On Thursday, July 10, 2025, the atmosphere in the Postgraduate Program Building 1, Faculty of Economics and Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), was filled with enthusiasm and hope. The Islamic Banking Doctoral Study Program held its 39th open promotion defense, this time featuring Dwi Nur'aini Ihsan, a doctoral candidate with Student ID number 31200870000001. In this meaningful defense, Dwi presented her dissertation, entitled "Business Performance and Innovation in Islamic Marketing Strategies Through the Implementation of Halal Certification."

The doctoral promotion defense was chaired by Prof. Dr. M. Nur Rianto Al Arif, SE., M.Si., who expertly guided the proceedings. Dwi was accompanied by a team of advisors consisting of Prof. Dr. Euis Amalia, M.Ag., as Promoter, Dr. Muniaty Aisyah, ST., MM., as Co-Promoter 1, and Prof. Nur Hidayah, Ph.D., as Co-Promoter 2. In addition, a panel of examiners consisting of prominent academics, including Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rodoni, MM., as Chief Examiner, KH. M. Cholil Nafis, Lc., MA., Ph.D., and Prof. Sri Rahayu Hijrah Hati, Ph.D., as Expert Examiners, were also present to provide objective assessments.
In her presentation, Dwi Nur'aini Ihsan demonstrated her ability by conveying her research findings comprehensively and fluently. Every word she uttered reflected the dedication and hard work she had put in during the research process. The atmosphere of the session felt solemn and sacred, as if everyone present felt the importance of this moment for Dwi and the academic world.
After carefully listening to her dissertation writing, comments from the examiners, and a series of answers provided by Dwi, the examiners finally reached their decision. They proudly declared Dwi Nur'aini Ihsan a graduate with a Very Satisfactory Grade.

Thus, Dwi Nur'aini Ihsan officially becomes the 39th doctorate in Islamic Banking in the Islamic Banking Doctoral Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This achievement is not only a significant step in her academic journey but also a valuable contribution to the development of knowledge in the field of Islamic Banking. (AM/SRK)
