The Accounting Student Association (HMPS) Hosts the GALAKSI 2026 Series
South Tangerang, September 9, 2026 – The Accounting Student Association (HMPS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially launched the GALAKSI 2026 series with an Opening Ceremony and seminar held on Wednesday (September 9) at the FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Postgraduate Theater.
Centered on the theme "Building Community Financial Resilience Amidst Economic Dynamics," the event served as a platform for participants to gain insights into the importance of establishing financial resilience in the face of economic changes.


The Opening Ceremony began with remarks from the GALAKSI 2026 Organizing Committee Chair, Muhammad Rafiul Alam, and the HMPS Accounting Chairperson, Ryan Hary Nugroho. The event continued with an address by Mr. Hepi Prayudiawan, S.E., M.M., Ak., CA., the Secretary of the Accounting Study Program. He expressed his appreciation to the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI) for its support of the GALAKSI 2026 event. The opening proceedings concluded with a symbolic gong strike by Mr. Hepi Prayudiawan, S.E., M.M., Ak., CA., officially marking the start of GALAKSI 2026.

Following the opening ceremony, there was a group photo session and a traditional dance performance before the seminar began. Prior to the main presentation, Mr. Aji Haryo Wibowo, S.E., M.M., from the IAI Banten Chapter, introduced the Young Accountants Association (IAM) to the participants. The seminar then proceeded with a presentation by Mr. Donny Indradi, S.E., S.H., M.M., M.Kn., Ak., CA., also from the IAI Banten Chapter, moderated by Ms. Syaharani Putri. Mr. Donny explained that financial resilience is not merely about the size of one's income, but rather about the ability to manage finances and build a robust financial position.

"It is not about how much you earn, but how solid the financial foundation is that you build," Mr. Donny stated. He then shared several strategies for building financial resilience, ranging from financial planning, establishing an emergency fund, and managing debt to investing, diversifying assets, and securing insurance coverage.

The presentation was met with enthusiasm from the participants, who actively engaged in the discussion and took part in the Q&A session. The event concluded with the presentation of a plaque and certificate to the speaker, followed by a closing prayer.
Through the GALAKSI 2026 Opening Ceremony and Seminar, participants are expected to gain valuable insights and begin cultivating wiser financial habits to navigate economic dynamics. (HMPS AK)
