The Accounting Student Association (HMPS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has successfully held the "Balance Roadshow 2026" event.

South Tangerang, August 5, 2026 – The Accounting Student Association (HMPS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta organized the "Balance Roadshow 2026," themed "Bring the Balance: Breaking Through Vocational School Boundaries, Accelerating Student Potential."

The Balance Roadshow is an initiative by the Social and Strategic Studies Department (SOSKASTRAT) designed to provide vocational high school (SMK) students with an understanding of career prospects in accounting and to broaden their perspectives on the importance of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Through this initiative, HMPS Accounting aims to foster empathy among university students, encourage vocational students to pursue their aspirations of entering public universities, and deliver tangible benefits to the surrounding community.

The event began with warm and enthusiastic opening remarks from both the school administration and HMPS representatives. The program continued with a presentation titled "Bring The Balance: Breaking Through Vocational School Boundaries" delivered by Ms. Haryatih, S.E., M.Si. During this session, students were encouraged to broaden their horizons regarding the vast career prospects for accountants today and to understand the importance of obtaining a bachelor's degree as a foundation for their future.

The enthusiasm continued into a more intimate and engaging sharing session led by accounting student Dimas Arianto, who returned to his alma mater to share his experiences. Centered on the theme "Break The Limit: Shattering Stigmas and Exploring SNBP & SNBT Opportunities for Vocational Students," the discussion was highly interactive. Students explored the pathways to their dream universities and detailed the preparations needed early on to tackle the SNBP and SNBT admission processes. Beyond merely sharing technical strategies, this session served as a space to build confidence and dismantle the outdated stigma suggesting that vocational high school (SMK) students would struggle to gain admission to state universities.

To refresh the atmosphere after the two main presentations, the event continued with interactive games and a prize giveaway. A picture-guessing game, specially curated around accounting terminology, was featured. More than just entertainment, the session was designed to sharpen participants' puzzle-solving skills while introducing them to the world of accounting in a fun, engaging way.

From start to finish, the entire event flowed smoothly and was filled with warmth. Tremendous enthusiasm remained high throughout, enlivening every interaction. The presence of 55 tenth-grade students from SMKN 2 South Tangerang was the heart of the event; each student came not only to learn but also carrying the spark of big dreams that would one day light their path to success.

In closing, this event stood as a testament to the fact that every big dream deserves space to grow and flourish. The Accounting Student Association (HMPS Akuntansi), through its Social and Strategic Affairs Department, was proud to connect with and offer encouragement to the students of SMKN 2 South Tangerang on their journey. Keep dreaming without hesitation, relentlessly hone your potential, and turn every obstacle and stigma into a stepping stone to soar even higher. Rest assured: when determination is set and persistent effort is applied, gaining admission to your dream university is no longer just a fantasy, but a certainty that is simply a matter of time.
