The event began with opening remarks from the Head of the Accounting Study Program, Dr. Fitri Damayanti, S.E., M.Si., and the Secretary of the Accounting Study Program, Hepi Prayudiawan, S.E., M.M., Ak, CA. In their addresses, the program leadership expressed their appreciation for the training and emphasized the importance of digital skills and the use of information technology for aspiring accountants in the modern era.
Following this, Ryan Hary Nugroho, Chair of the Accounting Student Association, offered his high praise for the committee’s dedication and highlighted the significance of collaboration and technological adaptation for students from an early stage. Nisrina, the Chair of the MASSACO 2026 Organizing Committee, also spoke, outlining the background and intended learning outcomes of the event.
While primarily aimed at the 2026 cohort of new students to strengthen their academic foundation at the start of their studies, MASSACO 2026 also succeeded in attracting a broader audience. The training room was packed with participants from various institutions and universities, including STIKES, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ), Universitas Bina Nusantara (BINUS), and Universitas Budi Luhur. The presence of participants from these diverse academic institutions further strengthened their academic networks and fostered a spirit of inter-university collaboration.
The core session was led in an interactive manner by an impressive instructor, Faisal Akbar, S.Ak. Rather than a one-way lecture, the training utilized simulations and hands-on practice based on real-world business case studies. The material was presented in a logical and comprehensive manner, covering the following:

The training curriculum was structured systematically, beginning at a basic level—focusing on an introduction to the software interface, fundamental formulas, and efficient navigation and data manipulation techniques. Once the foundation was established, the training progressed to an intermediate level, exploring the application of logical functions, relational data processing (using lookup functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and HLOOKUP), and data visualization techniques through interactive tables and charts. Finally, participants reached the advanced level, which focused on the automated preparation of financial reports and the automation of complex business data analysis—enabling the creation of precise, efficient, and systematically structured data presentations.
Throughout the training, participants were supported by a team of facilitators ready to provide immediate assistance whenever technical issues arose during the exercises. The high level of enthusiasm was evident in the active engagement and Q&A sessions between the participants and the instructor, centered on real-world professional case studies. Following the practical session, the event continued with a "fun-practice" activity and concluded with the presentation of a plaque and a certificate of appreciation to the speaker, followed by a group photo session featuring all committee members and participants.
