South Tangerang, September 14, 2026 – The Accounting Student Association (HMPS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the "2026 Department Dialogue" (Dialog Jurusan) event. The event was themed "Creating a Generation of Accountants Who Are Professional, Principled, and Intellectual by Fostering Discipline, Developing Competence, Creating for the Future, and Benefiting the Nation."
The Department Dialogue is a program organized by the Student Advocacy and Welfare Department (ADKESMA). It serves as a platform for students to obtain information directly from the study program administration, lecturers, academic service staff, and library management. Beyond providing insight into the facilities and services that support academic activities, the event aims to foster communication between new students and lecturers, as well as to build stronger relationships among students within the same cohort.
The event began with opening remarks from the Organizing Committee Chairperson, Abdullah Kalfin Alfayadh, who outlined the background and objectives of the Accounting Department Dialogue. Next, remarks were delivered by the Chairperson of the Accounting Student Association (HMPS), Ryan Hary Nugroho. He introduced the HMPS as a platform for students to develop their potential, build networks, and participate in various academic and non-academic activities within the Accounting study program. The series of opening remarks concluded with a speech by the Head of the Accounting Study Program, Dr. Fitri Damayanti, S.E., M.Si. Through this session, students were encouraged to understand the importance of properly engaging with the academic process, adhering to regulations, and cultivating a disciplined and responsible attitude as students.

Following the opening remarks, the event proceeded with an introduction to the faculty members, led by the Secretary of the Accounting Study Program, Hepi Prayudiawan, S.E., MM., Ak., CA. This session aimed to ensure that new students could get to know the individuals who would guide their academic journey, rather than simply encountering them during classroom lectures. During the session, the attending lecturers were given the opportunity to deliver remarks and introduce themselves personally to the new students.

The introductions began with Dr. Yusar Sagara, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., CMA., CPMA., followed by a photo session to capture the moment shared by the new students, lecturers, and the study program.

Following the photo session, introductions continued with Ms. Haryati, S.E., M.Si., and Ms. Zuwesty Eka Putri, S.E., M.Ak., concluding with Dr. Fitri Damayanti, S.E., M.Si., who serves as both a lecturer and the Head of the Accounting Study Program. Lecturer introductions are a crucial part of the event, as effective communication between students and lecturers fosters a comfortable academic environment.

The event then moved to the first presentation, delivered by Mr. Ahmad Ghozali, regarding academic services. This session aimed to provide an understanding of various academic systems and services, helping students minimize errors when handling administrative and academic matters throughout their studies. A Q&A session followed to ensure students fully grasped the material presented.
The next session covered library ethics, services, and book borrowing procedures, presented by Ms. Imas Fatonah, S.IP., and Ms. Nenden Serena Handayani, S.IP. Students were educated on proper library etiquette—including the importance of maintaining quiet, cleanliness, and order, as well as respecting other users—and were informed about the procedures for borrowing books. Students are encouraged to cultivate a positive academic culture, particularly by utilizing information resources in an orderly, responsible manner that aligns with university ethics. This was followed by a Q&A session.
Once all presentations concluded, the event proceeded to the election of the Class Representative. The election was led by the Class of 2025 Representative, Mochammad Alfin Ramadhoni. This election aimed to establish internal communication among students within the cohort. The activity is expected to serve as a first step toward building solidarity and a sense of community among the students. Next is the final event: the "Galaksi 2026" orientation session.
Through this Accounting Department dialogue, students are expected to adapt to the academic environment, understand their rights and responsibilities, and cultivate a mindset characterized by discipline, a drive for achievement, and independence.
