The Accounting Study Program Student Association held an Upgrading event with the theme Synergy in Action: Elevating Leadership and Administrative Excellence for a Future-Ready Organization.
Jakarta, February 28, 2026 ─ The Accounting Student Association (HMPS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta held an Upgrading event for the 2026/2027 period with the theme "Synergy in Action: Elevating Leadership and Administrative Excellence for a Future-Ready Organization." This activity aimed to strengthen leadership capacity, enhance administrative competency, and build internal synergy among the management to achieve professional and adaptive organizational governance.
The event was structured from 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB. The event began with participant registration, followed by an opening by the Master of Ceremonies, a recitation of the Divine Word, and the singing of Indonesia Raya and the UIN Hymn. Addresses from the Executive Committee and the Chair of the HMPS Accounting emphasized the importance of strengthening the competence and integrity of the management as the foundation of a superior organization.
Entering the core session, from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. WIB, Secretariat material was presented, discussing the strategic role and function of the secretary in supporting orderly administration, including the preparation of organizational letters, meeting minutes, activity reports, and the implementation of a systematic and sustainable filing system.
Next, from 10:20 to 11:00 a.m. WIB, Treasury material was presented regarding professional, transparent, and accountable organizational financial management, including the preparation of the Budget Plan (RAB), transaction recording, and the preparation of Accountability Reports (LPJ) in accordance with administrative standards.
From 12:40 to 1:20 p.m. WIB, Leadership material was presented, focusing on strengthening integrity, persuasive communication, conflict management, and effective decision-making strategies in various organizational situations. From 1:50-2:20 PM WIB, Technical Session Material was provided to enhance the administrators' understanding of session mechanisms, forum ethics, interruption procedures, and decision-making procedures as the organization's highest sovereign forum.
Each presentation was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, documentation sessions, and the presentation of certificates to the presenters as a token of appreciation. The committee also provided breaks and prayer times to ensure participant comfort and to document the process for the institution's archives.
The event was officially closed by the Master of Ceremonies at 3:00 PM WIB. Through systematic implementation and a focus on strengthening substance, this Upgrading is expected to shape the 2026/2027 Accounting Student Association (HMPS) administrators with integrity, professionalism, and strong managerial capacity, while also reinforcing the organization's commitment to achieving superior and sustainable student governance.
