The Education and Culture Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Thailand Welcomes MBKM Students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta

Bangkok, December 1, 2025. The Education and Culture Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Thailand, Mrs. Cyti Daniela Aruan, warmly welcomed the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) International delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The 17 delegates, consisting of 14 students and 3 lecturers, were received by Cyti Daniela at the Indonesian Embassy in Bangkok.

“We at the Indonesian Embassy in Bangkok warmly welcome the students and lecturers from UIN Jakarta. Hopefully, this visit can open up access to scholarship information from universities in Thailand, such as Chulalongkorn and Krirk University, both from the Thai and Indonesian governments,” said Cyti.

Arisman, the lecturer accompanying the MBKM International Thailand activity, said that this activity was indeed aimed at opening up cooperation opportunities and introducing Thailand to students. “This activity in Thailand not only introduces Thailand as a well-known country in ASEAN, but also as an effort by FEB UIN Jakarta to open up cooperation and scholarship opportunities with universities in Thailand,” said the Executive Director of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS).

During their stay in Thailand, the students are scheduled to visit Pertamina Lubricants Thailand, Chulalongkorn University, Krirk University, and other destinations. The activity at the Indonesian Embassy in Thailand concluded with a reception and group photo. (AC)
