Jakarta, October 4, 2025: The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a 2025 Quran Recitation Practical Guidance (Tahsinul Qur'an Al Mujawad) on the Faculty of Economics and Business campus. This activity is part of an Islamic development program designed to improve new students' Quran reading skills in accordance with the rules of tajweed and makharijul huruf.

The event, held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Faculty of Economics and Business campus of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, was attended by 343 new students out of a total of 556 registered participants. The activity ran from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. WIB and was led by 14 Ustadz and Ustadzah teachers competent in the fields of tahsin and qira'at.

Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., CM., the person in charge of the program and Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, stated that this activity is an important platform for shaping the character of FEB students who are Qur'anic and have noble morals. "This guidance is not only about the technical ability to read the Quran, but also part of the moral and personality development of students, so that the Quran becomes a guide for their education and professional lives," he said.

The Quran Reading Practical Guidance Program (Tahsinul Qur'an Al Mujawad) will be held regularly every Saturday until December 2025, with a gradual learning system, starting from the introduction of the hijaiyah letters to the mujawwad reading. Students will be guided intensively by Ustadz and Ustadzah in small groups to ensure an effective and interactive learning process. This activity is also part of the faculty's efforts to integrate Qur'anic values ​​into academic development, so that FEB students not only excel intellectually, but also have strong spiritual and moral intelligence. With the implementation of this activity, the Faculty of Economics and Business hopes that all students can improve and perfect their Qur'an reading, and make this tahsin activity the first step towards a Qur'anic, competitive, and moral economic generation.
