The Islamic Banking Study Program Student Association (HMPS) successfully held a Halal Bi Halal with the theme "Knitting Friendship, Strengthening Brotherhood within the Sharia Framework through Halal Bi Halal"
South Tangerang, April 16, 2026. The Islamic Banking Student Association (HMPS) successfully held a Halal Bi Halal gathering as a moment for reflection and strengthening relationships within the academic community.
Themed "Knitting Friendship, Strengthening Brotherhood within the Sharia Framework through Halal Bi Halal," the event took place solemnly at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. It was attended by lecturers, alumni, and all members of the Islamic Banking Student Association.
The halal bi halal gathering began with remarks from the Head of the Islamic Banking Study Program, Dr. Yuke Rahmawati, M.A., who emphasized the importance of maintaining harmony on campus.
"This Halal Bi Halal is not just an annual event, but a foundation for building synergy. I hope that through this activity, the entire academic community can work together with a pure heart to advance our study program in the spirit of sharia integrity," she said.
The event included remarks from the Head of the Islamic Banking Student Association (HMPS) for the 2026/2027 period, Dimas Rezka Mawlasaladin, and the Chair of the Committee, Syakira Kisisina. In their messages, they expressed their appreciation for the participation of all parties and encouraged participants to utilize the halal bihalal as a means to strengthen ties, strengthen togetherness, and foster a sense of camaraderie within the Islamic Banking student community.

The lively halal bihalal was also highlighted by the harmonious singing of shalawat (prayers) by the students' hadroh (religious recitation). This not only fostered closeness among participants but also strengthened their spirituality by emulating the Prophet's morals as a foundation for campus life.
The event continued with a sermon and a communal prayer by lecturer Mr. Irhamsyah Putra, M.A., as this activity, in addition to serving as a forum for forgiveness after the Eid al-Fitr celebrations, also aimed to foster a spirit of camaraderie within the Islamic banking ecosystem, which upholds Islamic values.

In his lecture, he emphasized that the essence of brotherhood is strengthening each other in goodness.
"The strength of an organization lies in the openness of its members to forgive one another. Good relationships between fellow human beings (hablum minannas) are the key to blessings in all our professional endeavors," the sermon concluded.
The event then concluded with a warm handshake session. With this event, the Sharia Banking Student Association (HMPS) hopes that the kinship that has been forged will serve as a solid foundation for implementing the organization's future work programs and create a supportive and blessed learning environment.
