The Sharia Economics Study Program Delegation Wins 1st and 2nd Place at the Largest Sharia Economics Festival in Banten
Banten, September 2, 2025 The Islamic Economics Study Program delegation successfully brought home the 1st and 2nd place titles at the Largest Islamic Economics Festival in Banten, Shafara X Ferba 2025. The event was organized by Bank Indonesia (BI) Banten Province from August 29 to 31, 2025 at Bintaro Jaya Xchange.
The festival featured halal foods, modest fashion, MSME exhibitions, casual talks, museum showcases, and Jawara Mart. The festival was opened by the Governor of Banten, represented by the Head of the Agriculture Office, Agus Tauhid, who emphasized the importance of collaboration in strengthening Islamic finance and encouraging investment in halal products. The Head of BI Banten Representative Office, Ameriza M. Moesa, called this activity an orchestration of the development of the halal ecosystem and halal lifestyle culture.
The Sharia Economics Study Program delegation won 1st and 2nd place in Clash of Sharia. The 1st place winners were Ihsan Faris Kurnia, Alfin Carlo Ardiyansyah, and Anjani Khoerul Fadilah, while the 2nd place winners were Muhammad Fadhil Wirahman, Diko Thoriq Ibadurrahman, and Farhan Miftahurrahman. The Head of the Sharia Economics Study Program, Ali Rama, expressed his pride and appreciation for the students' achievements. “Of course, we are proud of our students' achievements. Thank you and congratulations on this extraordinary achievement,” said Ali Rama.
Ihsan, a 7th semester student of the Sharia Economics study program, expressed his gratitude for the support of the study program and faculty. “My friends and I would like to thank FEB for its support in achieving this accomplishment. Hopefully, we can continue to achieve this in the future,” said one of the LISENSI administrators. This achievement adds to the list of accomplishments of the Islamic Economics program, which earlier this year received an excellent accreditation from LAMEMBA. (AC)
