The Sharia Investment Gallery (GIS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta) successfully held the Capital Market Movement 2026 event in Theater 2, 5th Floor, FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Carrying the theme "Invest with Vision, Grow with Precision," this event provided an educational platform for students to enhance their understanding of the sharia capital market and foster rational, long-term investment awareness.
The event began with participant registration, an opening remarks, a recitation of the Quran, and the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya. The event then continued with remarks from the Chairperson of GIS FEB UIN Jakarta, the Chairperson of FORMABI-KIP UIN Jakarta, the Advisor of GIS FEB UIN Jakarta, and the Deputy Dean III of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Following the welcoming remarks, all participants and invited guests took a group photo before moving on to the main agenda.
Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., C.M., Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Partnerships at the Faculty of Economics and Business, State Islamic University of Jakarta, expressed his appreciation for the Capital Market Movement 2026. He hoped this activity would provide students with a platform to broaden their horizons and enhance their understanding of the Islamic capital market, equipping them to navigate the increasingly dynamic world of investment. He also encouraged participants to make the most of this opportunity by actively participating in all activities, so that the knowledge and experience gained would benefit both their personal and organizational development.
In the first session, participants received a presentation entitled "Introduction to Islamic Investment and Capital Markets," presented by Aldiansyah Akbar, Sharia Product Development for Islamic Capital Market at IDX. In his presentation, he explained the importance of a basic understanding of Islamic investment and capital markets as a foundation for the younger generation in making wise, measured, and sharia-compliant investment decisions.
The second session featured Muhammad Akbar Pamungkas, Partnership Campus Support at Phillip Sekuritas Indonesia, who presented a presentation titled "Sharia Online Trading System (SOTS)." In this session, participants gained an understanding of the mechanisms of sharia-compliant stock transactions through a trading system that complies with sharia provisions and the various conveniences offered by digital technology to support investment activities.
The Capital Market Movement 2026 activity was held as a form of GIS FEB UIN Jakarta's contribution to increasing literacy and inclusion in the sharia capital market among university students. With the increasing number of capital market investors in Indonesia, adequate education is needed so that the younger generation is not only interested in investing but also has a strong understanding of risk management, securities trading mechanisms, and the importance of a long-term investment mindset.
Through this activity, GIS FEB UIN Jakarta hopes to encourage the emergence of young sharia investors with integrity, professionalism, and sound financial awareness. Furthermore, this activity is expected to foster a healthy investment culture within the academic environment and support the creation of a generation capable of contributing to national economic growth through responsible investment based on sharia principles.
