Ciputat, June 29, 2026 – The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business (DEMA FEB) of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta) successfully held a Seminar & Talkshow on the Utilization and Development of AI with the theme "From Disruption to Opportunity: Leveraging AI for Business Competitive Advantage and Capital Market Analysis." The event, held in Theater 2, 5th Floor, FEB, was attended by FEB students, student organizations, and prospective new students who enthusiastically participated from start to finish.

The seminar aimed to provide an understanding of the wise and productive use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, particularly in supporting learning, business development, and capital market analysis in the ever-evolving digital era.

The Chairperson of DEMA FEB of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Erma Safitri, stated that this event is one of DEMA FEB's efforts to provide a learning space that is relevant to today's student needs.

"AI has become a part of our daily lives. Through this seminar, we hope that students will not only become AI users but also be able to utilize it intelligently, critically, and responsibly to prepare them to face challenges in the academic and professional worlds," said Erma Safitri.

Meanwhile, Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., C.M., Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, also expressed his appreciation for the event. He hoped that the synergy between the faculty and student organizations would continue through various beneficial programs.

"Hopefully, this kind of collaboration can continue to be established so that more activities benefit students and support the development of their potential," said Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., C.M.

Through this activity, the FEB Student Executive Board hopes that students will be better prepared to face technological developments by utilizing AI in a positive, innovative, and ethical manner. This seminar also demonstrates DEMA FEB's commitment to presenting programs that are adaptive to current developments while strengthening collaboration between students, faculty, and various strategic partners.
