The UIN Jakarta Sharia Investment Gallery held a comparative study with YOUNG INVESTORS from Padjadjaran University.
May 9, 2026, Bandung. In an effort to broaden organizational horizons, strengthen inter-institutional relations, and improve the quality of student resource development in the capital markets and Islamic financial literacy sectors, the Sharia Investment Gallery (GIS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta held a comparative study with Young Investors (YI) of Padjadjaran University.
Themed "Building Connections, Sharing Innovation, and Strengthening Organizational Collaboration," the event provided a platform for the exchange of experiences, ideas, and organizational culture between the two student communities engaged in investment and student intellectual development. Through this comparative study, both organizations are expected to gain new perspectives on management systems, work programs, member development strategies, and activity innovations that can be applied to their respective organizations in the future.

Before departing for the event, all GIS UIN Jakarta participants received a warm message from the Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation of FEB UIN Jakarta, Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., C.M. He expressed his hope that all participants would take away positive values and new inspiration that could later be developed within the GIS UIN Jakarta organization. He also advised all participants to be careful during their travels and maintain unity throughout the event.

The series of activities began with participant registration, an opening by the MC, and the singing of Indonesia Raya. The event then continued with remarks from the Chairperson of the Comparative Study of GIS UIN Jakarta and YI Padjadjaran University, the Chairpersons of each organization, and faculty representatives.
Entering the main session, both organizations presented their management structures, flagship work programs, achievements, and various challenges faced in running the organization. This interactive session provided a forum for exchanging experiences, providing many new insights for all participants.
The activity then continued with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) between divisions tailored to their respective fields. In this session, participants discussed in-depth divisional work systems, program management strategies, internal communication patterns, and the development of innovative organizational activities. The results of these discussions were then presented in the FGD output session as a form of reflection and exchange of shared learning.

The event's atmosphere grew lively through games and entertainment sessions aimed at strengthening relationships between participants. The event continued with a symbolic presentation of plaques and gifts as a token of appreciation and a memento between GIS UIN Jakarta and YI Universitas Padjadjaran. The event concluded with a joint documentation session.
After the main event concluded, participants took a break for lunch and then embarked on a campus tour of Universitas Padjadjaran, guided by YI UNPAD. During this session, participants also created content together to document and strengthen the relationship between the two organizations.
Through this comparative study, GIS UIN Jakarta hopes to build a sustainable collaborative relationship with YI Universitas Padjadjaran, while also transforming this activity into a step toward developing a more adaptive, innovative, and progressive organization in the future. (ah)
