Friday, September 12, 2025 - The Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta, through the UIN Jakarta Tax Center, held a "Tax Goes to School" event at SMKN 18 Jakarta with the theme "Wise Students, Caring About Taxes." This activity is part of the UIN Jakarta Tax Center's efforts to foster tax literacy from an early age and raise awareness among the younger generation about the important role of taxes in national development.

In this event, students of SMKN 18 Jakarta received special training on Income Tax Article 21, one of the types of taxes most relevant to people's lives. The material was presented in a simple, easy-to-understand manner, and relevant to everyday situations, so participants understood not only the theory but also the real-life benefits of taxes.

The event was interactive, featuring presentations, inspirational sharing sessions, and discussions of case studies relevant to students' lives. This approach not only taught participants a formal understanding of taxes but also trained them to critically and wisely examine the role of taxes in their lives.

Through this event, the UIN Jakarta Tax Center hopes to cultivate a wise, aware, and caring generation of young people about taxes. With a strong understanding from an early age, students are expected to be prepared to become responsible citizens and actively contribute to Indonesia's development. (tax)
