Ciputat, June 1, 2026 – The State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day on Monday, June 1, 2026. This solemn event took place at the UIN Jakarta Student Center Field, Campus 1, Jalan Ir. H. Juanda No. 95, Ciputat.

The ceremony was led by the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., and attended by university leadership, including Vice Rectors, Bureau Chiefs, Deans, faculty members, staff, and students.

In his address, the Rector delivered an important message regarding the relevance of the nation’s foundational values amid the changing times. He emphasized that the entire academic community of UIN Jakarta should not merely memorize, but truly internalize the values of Pancasila in their daily lives in order to preserve national unity and solidarity.
“Pancasila is our foundation as a nation and a state. I urge the entire academic community of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to continue internalizing the noble values of Pancasila. This is our primary asset in fostering togetherness and preserving the unity and integrity of the nation,” said Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar in his speech.

The Presence of the FEB UIN Jakarta Delegation
The ceremony, which proceeded in an orderly manner, was also attended by various faculty delegations. One of them was the delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), which demonstrated its full commitment by attending in person.
The FEB delegation was led directly by the Dean of FEB, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, accompanied by the Vice Deans, the Head of the Administrative Affairs Division (Kabag TU), and joined by faculty members and academic support staff from the FEB.

Marking the commemoration of Pancasila Day on June 1, 2026, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta reaffirms its position as an Islamic higher education institution committed to producing a generation of academics who are nationalistic, tolerant, and of high integrity, grounded in the principles of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.
