To Improve Campus Tax Literacy, the TAX CENTER Holds TAX ON CAMPUS
South Tangerang, June 3, 2026. The Tax Center of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Jakarta held a "Tax on Campus" (ToC) event in the lobby of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Jakarta. The event successfully attracted high attention and enthusiasm from the campus community. This ToC activity was held as a concrete effort by the Tax Center of UIN Jakarta to improve tax education, literacy, and understanding in Indonesia, particularly within the university environment. In addition to providing education, this event also served as a valuable opportunity for the Tax Center to introduce itself and expand its presence on the UIN Jakarta campus more broadly.
Throughout the day, more than 40 participants visited the Tax on Campus booth. Through this interactive booth, the academic community and students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta were given a closer look and a deeper understanding of the world of taxation. The series of activities included discussions between students and academics with the Tax Center's Research and Development (RnD) staff, games, and a survey to assess their level of tax literacy and basic understanding.
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting increased tax literacy, Tax on Campus is expected to be an effective platform for building understanding and awareness among the younger generation regarding the importance of taxes for national progress.
Through the 2026 ToC, the UIN Jakarta Tax Center hopes that the enthusiasm for continuous learning and contributing to supporting the Indonesian tax system will flourish among students, the nation's future generation. (tax)
