Jakarta, 3 November 2025. The Mayor of South Tangerang, Benyamin Davnie opened The 2nd International Summer Class at the Syahida Inn UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Building, Jakarta. The Mayor of South Tangerang expressed his welcome to South Tangerang City to students from 11 campuses from 7 countries. “Welcome to South Tangerang City to all students participating in the International Summer Class which was held at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. "This is South Tangerang City”," said the Mayor, who is familiarly called Pak Ben, to applause from the audience.

Benyamin Davnie also conveyed the increasing economic growth of South Tangerang City, flood management and also plans to build Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) which will cross South Tangerang City. “Thank God, thanks to the cooperation of all parties, God willing, an MRT will be built which will cross Lebak Bulus (South Jakarta) to South Tangerang”, the Mayor added.

Apart from being scheduled to open the event, the Mayor of South Tangerang is also scheduled to receive participants in The 2nd International Summer Class at the South Tangerang City Government Center. (AC)
