Jakarta, October 2, 2026. Students from the Faculty of Economics and Business participated in a visiting lecture titled "Data Analytics for Research and Evidence-Based Decision Making Using STATA," featuring Dr. Sihar Tambun, SE., M.Si., Ak.—CEO of NV Consultant—as the keynote speaker. This event was organized to equip students with the understanding and skills needed to utilize data analysis in support of research and evidence-based decision-making.

During the session, students were introduced to STATA as a tool for data processing and analysis. The briefing enabled students not only to understand STATA's features but also to learn the stages of data processing, the application of analytical methods, and the correct way to read and interpret analysis results.

The material presented also emphasized the importance of data analytics capabilities in the research process. Students learned how processed data can yield relevant information, serving as a foundation for drawing research conclusions and making more objective, evidence-based decisions.
