The workshop provided a platform for experts to review the current state of Afghan girls' education, discuss the progress made so far, and identify remaining challenges that need to be addressed. A number of strategic approaches and initiatives offered by the Indonesian delegation to address this issue are: 1) various approaches are needed including cultural approaches to be able to conduct dialogue with the ruling government through religious narratives in this case Islamic teachings on the importance of education for women, in this context there is also a need for a forum for meetings of scholars, especially those with moderate thoughts such as Indonesia, Malaysia and others; 2) Strengthening the education system that can be accepted by the government, namely the madrasah model from elementary to secondary levels that separates male and female students, either separated by study hours or separated buildings; 3) Building a conducive ecosystem and infrastructure to open access to learning for female students; 4) Offering a curriculum with a perspective of integrating science and Islam that provides a knowledge base for students, learning models in Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries can be used as best practices for curriculum models such as this integrated madrasah. All of these proposals and initiatives certainly require collaboration and synergy from various parties so that they can be implemented properly. During their stay in Doha Qatar, the delegation was well received and accompanied by the Indonesian Embassy led by the Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar H.E Ridwan Hasan and team. As for the interests of organizing the conference, it was facilitated by the Qatari Government. Hopefully this meeting will provide benefits for the rights of Afghan women and other women on this earth. (euis_a,berita UINJkt)
