The Graduate Program Faculty of Economics and Business held a visiting lecture activity on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. This activity was held in a hybrid way (offline and online). The guest lecturer at this activity was Dr. Kamola Bayram (associate professor at the Department of Islamic Economics & Finance Kto Karatay Universitesi, Türkiye). The moderator for this activity was Rahmawati, Ph.D (Secretary of the Sharia Banking Doctoral Program). This activity was opened by Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Sc (Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business). In his remarks, he welcomed the activities carried out by the postgraduate program. This activity can provide new information to students regarding Islamic banking practices in other countries, namely in Türkiye. Dr. Kamola Bayram in her presentation conveyed the development of Islamic banking in Türkiye. Her presentation provides a variety of new information that is useful for students. The interest-free financial system became one of the priority areas in public strategy documents in the stage of Strategic Development. This activity was closed with the signing of a Letter of Intent between the two universities.
