Welcoming the Even Semester, FEB Holds Faculty Meeting
Jakarta, February 12, 2026 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Faculty Meeting for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The event, attended by all members of the leadership, heads of study programs, and both permanent and non-permanent lecturers, took place in the theater room on the 5th floor of the FEB Building on Jalan Ibnu Sina.
This meeting served as a strategic momentum for FEB UIN Jakarta to align perceptions and academic strategies before lectures began. In his speech, the Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si, conveyed three key messages that are the main focus of the faculty this semester.
Comprehensive Evaluation of Lectures
The first point emphasized by the Dean is the importance of evaluating lectures from the previous semester. The Dean instructed that every lecturer should not only focus on delivering the material but also on graduate learning outcomes (CPL) and quality academic interaction.
"This even semester must become a momentum for improvement from last semester. We need to ensure that our teaching methods are adaptive to the developments of the times, the use of AIS and e-Semesta, and capable of producing competent and integrity-driven students," said Prof. Qizam.
Preparation for Study Program Accreditation
The second point highlights the preparation for study program accreditation. FEB UIN Jakarta is committed to maintaining and improving its accreditation status, both at the national level (LAMEMBA) and internationally. The Dean requested all lecturers to work together in completing documents, increasing research publications, and carrying out community service with tangible impact, as a basis for accreditation assessment. “In the near future, we will face on-site accreditation for the Islamic Banking study program and the Islamic Banking doctoral program. Afterwards, we will also propose the reaccreditation of four study programs, namely the Islamic Banking Master's program, Accounting, Management, and Development Economics,” said the Dean.
Overseeing the Transformation Towards PTNBH
The third strategic issue that has become a major focus is full support for UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's transformation process from a Public Service Agency (BLU) to a State University with Legal Entity Status (PTNBH).
As a faculty covering economics and business, FEB is expected to become one of the main pillars in the independent management of the institution in the PTNBH era.
"The transformation towards PTNBH demands that we become more agile, innovative, and independent both financially and academically. FEB lecturers must be at the forefront of supporting a more professional and accountable university governance during this transition period," emphasized the Dean.
This faculty meeting was concluded with an interactive discussion session regarding lecture techniques, the use of the latest academic information system, and a shared commitment to creating a conducive academic climate within the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
Classes for the Even Semester 2025/2026 at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta are scheduled to begin effectively in early March 2026. (AC)
