Ciputat, May 19, 2026 – An atmosphere of pride and emotion marked the graduation ceremony for the 140th graduating class of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held on Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026. Of the 101 graduating students, the audience’s attention was focused on Devara Dipa Dirana, a student from the Management Program, who secured the title of top graduate at the faculty level with a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00.
Not only did Devara excel in daily academic achievements, but he also demonstrated in-depth research quality through his final thesis. He successfully defended his undergraduate thesis, which addressed a cutting-edge and relevant topic in the era of digital finance, titled “Modeling and Forecasting the Volatility of Bitcoin Cryptocurrency, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG), and Gold: A GARCH Approach.” This research was evaluated as having a strong methodological foundation in analyzing the dynamics of modern financial markets.

As a mark of the highest appreciation for his dedication and outstanding achievements, Devara received a special certificate of recognition and a commemorative gift from the faculty. This award was solemnly presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., in the presence of faculty members, the organizing committee, and all graduation ceremony attendees.
This rare achievement also brought joy to the entire Management Study Program family. Representing the Head of the Study Program, the Secretary of the Management Study Program, Dr. Umiyati, SE., M.Si., expressed her utmost pride and appreciation for the consistency in learning demonstrated by Devara throughout his studies.

Achieving a perfect GPA of 4.00 with excellent research quality is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and intelligence. This achievement not only brings pride to the Management Study Program but also serves as an inspiration and a source of motivation for all other students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta, to continue pursuing a tradition of academic excellence," said Dr. Umiyati.

Following this faculty-level graduation ceremony, Devara and 100 other FEB graduates-to-be will prepare to participate in the official university commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Harun Nasution Main Auditorium, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The faculty hopes that Devara’s academic knowledge and achievements will serve as a foundation for greater contributions in both the industrial and academic worlds in the future. (AC)
