Prof. Dr. Euis Amalia M.Ag
Prof. Dr. Euis Amalia, M.Ag is a Professor of Islamic Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Islamic Banking from IAIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (1993), her Master's degree in Islamic Economics from the University of Indonesia (1998), and her Doctoral degree in Islamic Economics from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (2005).
She is an active member of the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI) and has played an important role in shaping the national curriculum for Islamic Economics. Throughout her career, she has served as the Head of the Islamic Economics Study Program and as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Currently, she is actively engaged as a lecturer, researcher, and speaker in national and international academic forums.
Her expertise includes Islamic economics, Islamic microfinance, and community-based economic empowerment. Her works have been published in nationally indexed journals (SINTA) and reputable international journals such as the Journal of Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance and the International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management.
Her research topics cover Islamic financial inclusion, zakat-based poverty alleviation strategies, and the development of community economic institutions. She has also authored several books, including Ekonomi Islam (RajaGrafindo Persada), Zakat dan Wirausaha (UIN Jakarta Press), and Keadilan Distributif dalam Ekonomi Islam (Rajawali Pers).
