UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has once again produced a new doctorate. On Thursday, August 7, 2025, the Islamic Banking Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held its 41st promotion defense in the Postgraduate Courtroom.
Sri Sabbahatun (NIM 31200870000005) successfully defended her dissertation, entitled "Digital Services of Indonesian Islamic Banking for Customers in Saudi Arabia: A Maqasid Sharia Perspective." This research received high praise from the examining team, chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rodoni, M.M. This dissertation is considered to make a significant contribution to the development of Islamic banking innovation in the digital era, particularly in reaching customers abroad.

The presence of the promoter team also enlivened the event. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Said served as the main promoter, accompanied by KH. M. Cholil Nafis, Lc., MA., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Desmadi Saharuddin, Lc., MA., served as co-promoters.
The examining team, consisting of Prof. Nur Hidayah, PhD., Dr. Indoyama Nasaruddin, MAB, and expert examiner Dr. Muniaty Aisyah, M.M., examined this dissertation with constructive, critical questions. Sri Sabbahatun successfully answered each question clearly, demonstrating an exceptional mastery of the material. The intense atmosphere of the examination transformed into a moment of appreciation for her valuable scientific contributions.

Her comprehensive and fluent presentation of her research findings ensured a solemn and sacred presentation of her doctoral defense. Furthermore, during the question-and-answer session, Sri Sabbahatun's expertly answered them fluently and concisely, ensuring a smooth and timely completion of the examination. Promovenda graduated with honors and earned a doctorate after presenting his dissertation, becoming the 41st doctorate in the Islamic Banking Doctoral Program at the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta.
